Fund Distribution

Through United Way of Okaloosa and Walton Counties Fund Distribution process, United Way donors come together to make recommendations on how undesignated donations should be invested in non-profit programs that serve our community. As an organization, we set priorities, invest resources strategically and measures results. Our fundraising structure invests in a network of high-performing programs to improve more lives than any one of the partners could working separately. To keep us on track, all funded programs and initiatives are evaluated annually through a volunteer review and allocation process. The funds distribution process evaluates programs seeking funding based on measurable results and how the program contributes to United Way’s three priorities: Children & Education, Financial Stability & Disaster Preparedness and Health & Prevention.
