United Way completed training for 45 Campaign Ambassadors….45 volunteers from local businesses and organizations who loaned their best and brightest to United Way of Okaloosa and Walton Counties. These “Campaign Ambassadors” will play a crucial role in developing and implementing fundraising initiatives in a wide variety of situations during the 2015 annual United Way Campaign. Their participation will help keep fundraising costs low, leading to increased investments in the lives of people who need services.
Ronda Davenport, United Way VP of Campaign/Marketing stated on Facebook: “we appreciate all these beautiful folks for the mission they have been assigned, and please be ready to welcome these volunteers from various local businesses who will be contacting schools and local businesses to support the United Way and their 40 local agencies. These volunteers have a heart of gold and a spirit of commitment for a stronger community. Thanks LE’s for being our HERO.”
