Fort Walton Beach, FL – The United Way of Okaloosa-Walton Counties has set the dates for the annual Campaign Ambassador Training for July 29th and July 30th. The Campaign Ambassador Program is one of the most comprehensive management training programs in the area.
A Campaign Ambassador is just that – a loan of an executive employee (or multiple executives) from organizations for an intensive period from July 30 – December 12. These Campaign Ambassadors play a crucial role in developing and implementing fundraising initiatives in a wide variety of situations during the annual United Way Campaign. When area companies hold their United Way workplace giving campaigns, a group of Campaign Ambassadors works with United Way to raise our visibility and reach our community campaign goal.
Concentrated into just over four months, the program is a tremendous opportunity to get acquainted with local issues and those working on them. It’s also a chance to network in the business community, and make contacts that can later benefit the Campaign Ambassador’s company. The Campaign Ambassador Program will train employees in public speaking, setting and reaching goals, project management, sales and business development, networking, team building and much more.
Do you have that rising star in your company? Don’t miss out on the professional development opportunity of a lifetime! Contact the United Way 243-0315 for further information.
