Briley Kennedy

Development Manager

Briley moved to the Emerald Coast in 2021 after graduating from Western Kentucky University (WKU) where she majored in public relations and organizational leadership. During her time at WKU, she discovered her passion for non-profit work after serving as the co-chair of a dance marathon benefiting the local children's hospital.

She joined United Way Emerald Coast in April of 2022 first starting as Program Coordinator, after serving as the RSVP Director of Okaloosa County, she has now started her role as Development Manager. As the Development Manager, Briley plays a pivotal role in coordinating workplace campaigns and ensuring active involvement of local companies in advancing UWEC's mission through oversight of our Advisory Board.

When she is not working, she is spending time with her husband, newborn son, and their furry companion, Jovie. She enjoys road trips, cooking and talking about Dolly Parton. She loves her new community here on the Emerald Coast and is very grateful that she is able to give back to it.
