WHO WE ARE
United Way Emerald Coast's Emerging Leaders is a dynamic group of individuals dedicated to fostering meaningful connections, advancing personally and professionally, and giving back to their community. With a focus on volunteerism and community engagement, Emerging Leaders unite people who share a passion for service and dedication to create a lasting, positive impact throughout Okaloosa and Walton Counties.

WHAT WE DO

  • Connect young professionals who are committed to their community with other like-minded individuals.
  • Provide opportunities for young professionals to serve their community and meet their philanthropic goals.
  • Offer networking, leadership, development, and educational opportunities that prepare members to lead.

Emerging Leaders come together through a variety of fun, impactful events that promote networking, community involvement, and leadership development. From action-packed Adult Field Day to networking and development opportunities like Lunch with a Leader and Brunch with a Boss, to socials such as Trivia Nights, Sip & Serves, Cheers for Change, and Boozy Bookfair, there’s always something to connect to, learn from, and ways to give back to the community.

Emerging Leaders also present the 40 Under 40 Awards, sponsored by FPL, to recognize and celebrate Okaloosa and Walton counties' top 40 young leaders under the age of 40 for their community involvement and professional achievements.
