LET'S CREATE BRIGHTER FUTURES
While you are here for FLTA’s 2025 conference, join United Way Emerald Coast in making a direct impact for local teachers and students in Title I Schools across Okaloosa and Walton counties.
Every year, teachers spend their own money to replace basic supplies, especially in schools where resources are limited. With your help, we can change that.
Volunteers will assemble classroom supply kits filled with essentials like pencils, paper, glue sticks, and dry erase markers, plus write notes of encouragement for teachers and students. This flexible, stop-and-go activity is perfect for fitting into your conference schedule, and when the conference wraps up, these kits will go straight to local classrooms, ensuring students have what they need to learn and succeed, and teachers feel supported by a community that cares.
All supplies stay right here in our community, making a difference where it matters most.
NOTES OF ENCOURAGMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Each kit includes ready-to-fill cards. All we need are your kind words. Your note will go directly to a teacher or student, so keep it positive, supportive, and inspiring. Think of something that would brighten your day, and pass that encouragement along.
