Event Basics:
- Date and Venue: Thursday, October 2nd at Beachside Church (200 Racetrack Rd NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL)
- Schedule: Doors open at 7am | Program runs 8-5pm
- Arrival: Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled session to find your room, get settled, and test AV (if needed).
- Stay All Day: We'd love for you to experience the full conference! Simply note this on the Speaker Preference Form (linked below).
- Audience Profile: We are expecting 150-175 attendees, primarily non-profit professionals and board members. Our audience represents a broad cross-section of the non-profit sector, with professionals at all levels of experience and responsibility. Attendees may include executive directors of large organizations, front-line case managers, some may be rocking their agencies' social media, volunteer management, fundraising, or everything and anything in between.
- Recording/Photography Notice: We will be capturing photos and video footage throughout the day. While it's unlikely your entire session will be recorded, please expect our staff and videographer to capture highlights.
- Room Support: There will be a United Way Emerald Coast staff member or volunteer assigned to your session. They will introduce you, help you keep track of time, and will be able to assist with basic AV & Tech Support. Your presentation will be pre-loaded and will be shared on a large screen; we will provide you with bottled water, a presentation clicker, a high-top table, and hand-held microphones (if you are in Room C or the Main Room).

- Please upload your PowerPoint or other presentation materials NO LATER THAN September 25, 2025. You will upload your file(s) via the Speaker Preference Form below OR you may email a link to jennifer@united-way.org
- We cannot guarantee late submissions will be accommodated.
- PRO TIPS: Embed all fonts and videos in your slides (there are many YouTube tutorials available, contact us if you'd like step-by-step help). Consider bringing a backup copy on a USB (venue compatibility not guaranteed).
